LG L90 : Quick Review

LG L90 is the new flagship that is going to hit market quite soon. The LG L90 comes with a catchy 4.7 inches IPS scratch resistant screen, 1.2 GHz quad core  processor, an 8 mega pixel camera and many more features. Will these features make this mobile to show it's impact?  Let us have a quick review.

The LG L90 looks like LG G2 in terms of design with overall plastic build and navigation buttons at the bottom. There is physical home button key in the middle along with capacitive buttons on either side. There are also some tweaks similar to LG G2 like double tap to wake up or lock the screen. Since some features are borrowed from a higher end device it will be appealing to use this mobile on a daily life.

The screen resolution of LG L90 is 540 X 960 pixels at 234 pixels per inch. This is disappointing that a huge screen comes with low resolution. This also makes the screen dull, reduced viewing angles and difficulty in viewing in direct sunlight.

LG L90 comes with the latest Android version, the KitKat which pleased me so much. The operating system is tweaked with LG's custom UI. The volume rocker key is placed on the top right side while the power button is on left side. There is no physical camera button. The memory card and sim card slots are visible after you remove the back cover.

The LG L90 is powered by 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 processor assisted by 1GB RAM. This feature is pretty similar to Moto G. The phone is pretty fast without any lags. Browsing with the stock browser was pretty decent and fast, thanks to the processor.

The 8 mega pixel camera of the phone takes some pretty decent pics but I didn't had enough time to test for low light image capture. But the images were decent in sufficient light conditions. The camera can also shoot videos in 720p. There is 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera for video calling support.

The LG L90 comes with a internal memory of 8 GB which is expandable upto 64 GB.

Early Verdict:
The LG L90 is a pretty good mobile and it is a heavy competitor to the new Moto G. With better camera and expandable memory card option, LG L90 is a better choice over Moto G.
